In addition to records from other states, there is a large Mississippi section. There is also a large section on family histories. MSSDAR Genealogical Records Committee volumes, MSSDAR and NSDAR histories, NSDAR publications, information on other lineal and historical societies, and general reference materials are also available.

This library began as a traveling collection and was later combined and stored in the Eudora Welty Library in Jackson. When the Scoper-Love Carriage House was built in 2000, provisions were made for the library collection and it was moved at that time to Natchez. Our collection is comprised of some original materials from that traveling library and other donations from members and friends. Additions are made to the collection several times a year.
While there is no usage fee, donations are always welcome. Copies are available for a small fee. Donations must be accompanied by this form.
